Since graduated from Faculty of Law, Universitas Parahyangan (UNPAR) Bandung, Julia join in with WALHI, as lawyer who actively advocate for environmental cases through litigation and non-litigation. Julia once joined KEHATI, conservation agency to develop a Public Policy Advocacy program. Julia learn about humanitarian and disaster management issues when working with Oxfam Hong Kong and Oxfam Australia. Julia had the opportunity to be assigned to East Timor to handle the Climate Change Adaptation program. Since pursuing environmental issues, she has been involved in various organizations / networks such as HuMA, INSPIRIT, Sawit Watch, Epistema, Working Group on Agrarian Reform and Social Forestry, Ecosisters, LBH APIK etc. Currently she implemented a multistakeholder forestry cooperation program (MFP Phase 3) between the Government of Indonesia and the Government of the United Kingdom. In her spare time, she always took a moment for a walk and drink coffee.
