It’s quite simple, really. I have five children, and five grandchildren, and I want to die knowing that this world will still have livable, viable places for humans AND animals! I don’t want to die feeling like I’ve failed them, that WE have failed them. That to me is just unthinkable, and unbearably sad.
I hope these birds be allowed to remain on these islands for future generations to admire.

I have always loved Birds of Paradise. They are so beautiful and unique. Habitats around the world must be saved or none of us will have a future.
They’re one of my favorite birds ever, and they have a special place in my heart. They just make me happy!
