Defending Paradise

Hello 👋
My name is Kahleo Thompson, I’m a 15 year old nature lover and Photographer. I’ve been amazed by the natural world since I remember when my mom would read me an encyclopedia of the animals of the world every night. I just wanted to thank you for all the work that you are doing to preserve the habitats of not only the Birds of Paradise but also the whole biodiversity of Papua and the Maluku islands. Since I was a little boy, I’ve always dreamed to go to Papua to see the Birds of Paradise. Lately, I’ve been losing hope. Seeing all these forests being destroyed and burnt down breaks my heart and makes me wonder if I’ll ever be able to accomplish my dream one day. But when I see people like you, fighting for such an important cause, my hope comes back and inspires me to do the same as you do. So I just wanted to deeply thank you for all that you are doing and for the hope that you are giving not only to me, but to all the other people who have the same dream as I do.
