Cooperatives are one of the drivers of community economics. In the Sorong Raya region, with support from the EcoNusa Foundation, Lingkar Jerat Papua Cooperative is working to process wildboar caught by the community’s snares. An overpopulation of wildboar can damage the ecosystem in the forest. To be accountable for the cooperative’s performance, Lingkar Jerat Papua Cooperative held its Annual Members Meeting (RAT) for the Closing of the 2023 Books on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Cooperative and SME Agency of Sorong City, Yance Jitmau.
