Encouraging community-based economic independence is one of the main objectives of EcoNusa. Through a local cooperative-based business incubation model and assisting communities in carrying out their business practices, a training on the sourcing and production of nutmeg in the Maluku Islands was delivered to cooperative members. The training was hoped to improve the quality of nutmeg management in the Maluku Islands then provide added-value to these nutmeg to become high quality and exportable commodity.
