In efforts to enhance their economic independence, the forest farmer groups also received supported with tools and machinery to support production efficiency. This is intended to provide opportunities for indigenous communities to develop sustainable, locally-based enterprises. Thus, this training serves not only as technical capacity development but also as a catalyst for improving welfare and environmental sustainability in Boven Digoel – Tanah Merah.
