Defending Paradise

I love bird of Paradise. The colors, the displays, the fascinating feathers- they are truly special birds. I am saddened to hear about habitat loss in their home ranges for agricultural and forestry. These forests are ancient and irreplaceable. I urge decision makers in
Papua New Guinea and Indonesia to protect these magnificent bird of paradise and their habitat, well before it’s too late. In my state, development has created overwhelming habitat loss and loss of so many species of fauna and flora, i less than 50 years. I hope you are far sighted and focus on long term preservation, and don’t lost these amazing creatures to short term profits.
