On August 7, 2024, as part of the Road to AMJI (Aksi Muda Jaga Iklim) 2024, Penjaga Laut and EcoDefender held a brand audit workshop led by Ibar Akbar, Plastic Project Leader of Greenpeace Indonesia. The workshop, titled “Uncovering the Environmental Impact of Plastic Packaging and Demanding Producer Responsibility,” aimed to educate participants on the importance of brand audits in analyzing the environmental impact of plastic packaging. Through this event, participants learned to identify brands responsible for plastic pollution and how brand audits can be used to demand accountability and encourage producers to adopt more sustainable practices.
