Pukul Sapu tradition (Hitting a broom) is an annual tradition held in Negeri Morella, Leihitu District, Central Maluku. This tradition is held every 8 Shawwal or the seventh day after Eid al-Fitr. The attraction, which has been carried out since the 17th century, is an effort to preserve culture and momentum to commemorate Telukabessy’s struggle in the Kapahaha war.
