The forests and seas in the Land of Papua are important for the world community in reducing negative impacts of the climate crisis. EcoNusa was present and shared positive stories from eastern Indonesia about the biodiversity, local wisdom, initiatives and good work with indigenous peoples and local communities in protecting nature and fighting climate change. Not only exposing the natural and cultural beauty of Papua, we also encourage the world community to support more on the welfare of indigenous peoples and local communities by endorcing local products and commodities from indigenous farmers in the land of Papua to the world. Therefore the local economy will be enhanced, nature will be preserved, and sustainability will be achieved.
