MoU Between the Maluku Provincial Government and EcoNusa

Maluku possesses abundant natural resource potential. This region is referred to as the “spice islands” by European nations due to its wealth in nutmeg and cloves. In 2010, the Indonesian Government also designated the province as the national fishery hub due to its extensive fisheries resources. In order to enhance the community’s well-being, the Maluku Provincial Government and EcoNusa Foundation have concurred to engage in a collaboration aimed at empowering the community through the sustainable utilization of natural resources. This empowerment will encompass various fields, including agriculture, maritime and fisheries, environmental preservation and forestry, industry and commerce, as well as cooperatives and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
