PT. Ekosistim Bumi Lestari held its General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) in Sorong City, Southwest Papua, On March 4, 2025,. The meeting was attended by several cooperatives, which are partners of the EcoNusa Foundation from various regions in Maluku and Tanah Papua.
These cooperatives, together with EcoNusa Foundation, serve as shareholders of PT. KOBUMI, a company committed to sustainable resource management based on local wisdom and community-driven economic growth. During the GMS, shareholders discussed business development, sustainability strategies, and efforts to strengthen community-based economic ecosystems that support the well-being of Indigenous communities while ensuring environmental protection.
This meeting marks an important milestone in reinforcing transparent, inclusive, and sustainability-oriented business governance, while strengthening collaboration between cooperatives, Indigenous communities, and key stakeholders across Papua and Maluku.
