Our CEO, Bustar Maitar, was present to share the story of our work with indigenous peoples and local communities to the west-coast through a workshop forum entitled “Global Challenges, Local Voices: Building Partnerships for Frontline Progress” during the Global Philanthropy Forum 2023 held in San Francisco on October 18, 2023. On this occasion, our CEO also shared ideas and views on how important it is for an organization to maintain the trust of grant funders by running the program as planned, in this case for EcoNusa is to create prosperity for indigenous peoples and local communities, and preserve nature in the Land of Papua and Maluku Islands.
