EcoNusa Foundation and KOBUMI remain committed to fostering a green economy in Tanah Papua and the Maluku Islands through community empowerment. On March 5-6, 2025, both organizations held a business development consolidation in Eastern Indonesia, aimed at formulating strategies and action plans for partner cooperatives to navigate challenges and achieve sustainable growth.
During the event, participants gained insights from three successful cooperatives, learning about sustainable business practices while enhancing their skills in financial management and business planning. Group discussions in agroforestry, ecotourism, and marine sectors generated innovative solutions to improve community well-being and environmental conservation.
This initiative strengthens community-based business ecosystems, ensuring that economic growth aligns with environmental sustainability.
