The EcoXplorer will supercharge EcoNusa’s ability to bring hope, protect forests, and support local communities. Our intention is to make this boat a driving force to educate people on how they can reduce the rate and impacts of climate change, prevent destructive marine activities and forest loss in one of the most important biodiversity hotspots in the world. We also have a hope that EcoXplorer could help uplift the locals economy in Eastern Indonesia.

HUTAN TERJAGA MASYARAKAT SEJAHTERA, PERHUTANAN SOSIAL di PAPUA dan MALUKU

Di Maluku dan Tanah Papua, masyarakat adat punya hasil hutan melimpah namun tetap mempertahankan keutuhan hutan seperti sediakala. Namun seringkali, masyarakat kesulitan dalam pemasaran.

Karena itu, Yayasan EcoNusa bekerjasama dengan Balai Perhutanan Sosial (BPS) Ambon & Manokwari. Untuk mendampingi masyarakat dari hulu ke hilir: mulai dari pemetaan wilayah adat, pelatihan usaha, sampai membantu memasarkan produk mereka.

Masyarakat adat berdaya dan sejahtera, hutan pun tetap lestari. Karena mereka adalah penjaga terbaik rumah kita bersama. 🌳💚
