Traceability and ICS Training: From Indigenous Communities to the Global Market

To foster capacity building and encourage collaborative learning, KOBUMI organized a training session on Traceability and Internal Control Systems (ICS) in Ambon on August 1–2, 2024. Led by Peni Agustiyanto from Rikolto Indonesia, the session focused on creating a strong traceability system, aligning agricultural practices with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) standards, and evaluating the preparedness of both fields and warehouses. Through this initiative, Yayasan EcoNusa and KOBUMI aim to build strong connections between Indigenous and local community products and global buyers, establishing supply chains that not only deliver quality products but also foster trust and sustainability.
