Youth play a crucial role in transforming society for the better. Kemah Pemuda is an initiative organized by the EcoNusa Foundation since 2019 to enhance the capacity of young people as environmental diplomats. The EcoNusa Foundation supports Youth Camp Ambon, organized by the EcoDefender and Penjaga Laut communities from May 24-26, 2024. This event, themed “The Pattimura Muda for a Sustainable Maluku,” aims to empower young individuals to become environmental diplomats capable of preserving biodiversity and advocating for environmental protection and sustainable development policies to ensure environmental conservation and the well-being of indigenous communities.
