The West Papua Development Partners, consisting of civil society organizations, are formed to enhance coordination and collaboration with the government, fellow civil society partners, and other relevant stakeholders such as academics and practitioners. The aim is to ensure that ideas for sustainable development can be translated into tangible activities in the field. On March 5, 2024, the Development Partners conducted a coordination meeting in Manokwari. The meeting, which discussed research and innovation to enhance competitiveness and accelerate regional development, was attended by 80 participants including representatives from local government, civil society organizations, and academia.
