Aniswati

Anis has worked in the NGO related to environmental conservation advocacy for approximately 9 years. She started her career as a journalist at Koran Tempo, before joining the Journalist Association for Environmental Advocacy in South Sulawesi. She has experience in managing projects and working with the support of several national and international organization. Among them with FAO of the United Nations, USAID, and MCA-Indonesia. Together with the Independent Forestry Monitoring Network (JPIK), she has coordinated monitoring programs for timber circulation in Eastern Indonesia, including North Maluku, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, South Sulawesi and East Java. Her interest in Eastern Indonesia led her to join WWF-Indonesia as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for Papua Program in 2020. She joined EcoNusa as Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Coordinator since early 2022, now serves as Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Manager. In her spare time, she plays guitar and writes poetry.
