After a few years working as a journalist in several print media, Siti Masriyah Ambara or Imey switched to non-profit institutions since 2005. She joined several organizations such as Sekretariat Nasional Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia, Justice Associate for Southeast Asia (JASS SEA) and Perhimpunan untuk Peningkatan Keberdayaan Masyarakat (PPKM). Imey is experienced in managing programs related to the issue of strengthening women’s human rights, education and sustainable livelihood development especially for marginalized communities. Environmental conservation issue is a new thing she learnt when she joined EcoNusa Foundation since September 2020. Imey is currently on the Natural Resources Management (PSDA) team as a manager.
