Kemal Dokumalamo graduated from Papua State University majoring in Forestry with an interest in natural resource conservation (KSDA). During his studies at that time, Kemal had developed skills in carrying out Biodiversity Survey activities and was involved in Biodiversity Survey activities, especially in plant taxonomy. Operating software for spatial data processing (Argis, Mapsource, Global Mapper, Qgis, etc).
Currently, Kemal has been working at EcoNusa since 2021 as a GIS Specialist and Research in the Policy Advocacy & Research Division. While working at EcoNusa, Kemal was active in the chaos over customary territories in the Sorong and South Sorong customary territories and currently working at Rumah EcoNusa Sorong, West Papua.
