Junto, or as her parents call her Cindy Junicke Simangunsong, is an alumna of Faculty of Law Padjadjaran University with International Law major. In 2015, she continued her education by obtaining Master’s Degree in Energy Law from University of Aberdeen and graduated “with Distinction”, the highest citation for graduates.
Junto is equipped with approximately 10 years of experience in law. Her career debut was as a corporate lawyer at DNC Law Firm (currently AYMP Atelier of Law). She then decided to quit lawyering and became an in-house lawyer for several companies, including PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk dan TAC Pertamina – PT PAN. Her career in environmental issues and sustainable management was started by joining Yayasan Belantara, followed by Landscape Indonesia. Currently, Junto is the Policy and Advocacy Manager at Yayasan EcoNusa.
During her spare time, Junto loves to travel, singing, and she also loves to play mobile games.
